Introduction

This necklace is built on the sacred geometry of the traditional tantric necklace, a pattern rooted in ancient esoteric practice and worn by yogic practitioners for centuries. Its repeating, rhythmic structure is designed to be held, worn and returned to, whether in daily life or in stillness.

Each piece is handmade by me in Devon, with every stone chosen for its character and its meaning. It is both adornment and companion: something beautiful to wear, and something to settle into when you need to come back to yourself.

The Stones & Metals

Three elements, each with its own voice:

• Freshwater Pearl: soft, luminous and quietly lustrous
• Lapis Lazuli: deep midnight blue, flecked with golden pyrite
• Sterling Silver: bright, cool and reflective

Together they bring to mind moonlight on dark water. The pearls hold the glow, the lapis holds the depth, and the silver catches the light between them.

The Energies Within

Freshwater Pearl
Pearls are born of water and patience. Each one forms slowly in the dark, layer upon layer, around a point of irritation, which is why they have long been seen as a symbol of wisdom earned through experience. Traditionally associated with the moon and the element of water, pearls are said to soothe the emotional body, calming reactivity and bringing a sense of gentle balance. They are linked with purity, integrity and sincerity, and are often worn to encourage self-acceptance and a softer relationship with one’s own tender places. In many traditions the pearl is also a stone of feminine energy and cyclical rhythm, offering a reminder that stillness and luminosity can go hand in hand.

Lapis Lazuli
Treasured for thousands of years, lapis has been ground into pigment, carved into amulets and carried into ceremony across ancient cultures. It is known as a stone of truth, traditionally associated with the third eye and throat chakras. It is said to sharpen inner vision while giving the wearer the courage to speak from what they know. Lapis is considered a stone of clarity and self-awareness, helping to quieten mental noise and deepen meditation. Many traditions also hold it as protective, a stone that steadies the energy field and encourages honest self-reflection. The golden flecks of pyrite within it are often read as points of light held in the dark, a reminder that depth is not something to fear.

Sterling Silver
Silver has been associated with the moon since antiquity, and with reflection, intuition and cleansing. It is a metal prized for its conductivity, and in metaphysical tradition it is said to carry and amplify the qualities of the stones it sits beside, while keeping the energy flowing and clear. Silver is considered a purifying presence, supporting emotional balance and a receptive, intuitive state of mind. Here it acts as a thread of light between the stones, linking the depth of the lapis with the softness of the pearl.

Together
Water, sky and moon. The pearl soothes, the lapis clarifies, and the silver reflects and carries. Worn together, they are said to support a calm, open awareness, steady enough to listen inward and clear enough to trust what you hear.

Care

Pearls and lapis are delicate and love gentle treatment. Keep your necklace away from perfume, water, hairspray and harsh chemicals, and put it on last when dressing. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store separately in the pouch provided. Sterling silver may soften in tone over time and can be polished with a silver cloth.
