You may wish to keep it in its own box, or somewhere that feels calm and undisturbed. Many people are drawn to placing their necklace near where they sleep, allowing it to remain within their energetic field overnight.

There is no single “correct” way, your intuition will guide you to what feels right.

Avoid exposing your necklace to water for prolonged periods, and remove it during activities where it may be pulled or caught.

Cleansing with Selenite

Selenite is often used to gently cleanse and reset the energy of crystals.

You may choose to place your necklace in or beside a selenite bowl or plate, allowing it to rest there between wearings. This offers a soft, continuous clearing without the need for active ritual.

Some people like to combine this with their own practices, breath, intention, or quiet presence. When you place your necklace back over your head in the morning, you are reconnecting with source, crowning yourself and recharging the stones with intention.

Wearing your necklace

There is no requirement to be a yogi, or to follow a specific path, in order to wear a Tantric Necklace.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

These pieces can be worn:

  • during meditation or breathwork
  • as part of your daily life
  • layered with other necklaces
  • or kept for specific moments of intention

For longer necklaces, it is absolutely fine to loop them around the neck when worn day-to-day. The energetic flow remains intact.

Above all, allow your intuition to guide how and when you wear your piece.

When a necklace breaks

Occasionally, a necklace may break.

This can happen physically, through catching or tension, but within this work, it is also understood in another way.

Sometimes a piece will break when it has completed a particular energetic role. A shift has occurred, something has been released, or a pattern has been moved through.

Rather than seeing this as damage, it can be viewed as completion.

If your necklace breaks, I offer a repair and reweaving service. Missing beads can be replaced, and the piece can be cleansed, re-blessed, and returned to you ready for its next phase.
