Introduction

This necklace is built on the sacred geometry of the traditional tantric necklace, a pattern rooted in ancient esoteric practice and worn by yogic practitioners for centuries. Its steady, repeating rhythm is made to be worn close, held in the hands and returned to, whether in daily life or in stillness.

Each piece is handmade by me in Devon, with every stone and metal chosen for its character and its meaning. It is both adornment and companion: something beautiful to wear, and something to steady you when you need to come back to yourself.

The Stones & Metals

Two elements, one clear intention:

Amazonite gives the cool green-blue of clear water, and the gold sits between the beads like sunlight on its surface. The result is a necklace that is calm and bright in equal measure.

A close, graceful drape that rests at the collarbone, bringing the stone up towards the throat and heart. Substantial enough to carry presence, light enough to wear every day.

The Energies Within

Peruvian Amazonite
Amazonite has been treasured since antiquity. It was set into ornaments and carved into pieces found in ancient Egyptian burials, and it carries a long reputation as a stone of truth and courage. The name “Peruvian” is used for its deepest, most saturated turquoise tones, a colour often compared to clear river water.

Metaphysically, amazonite is held to bridge the throat and heart chakras, the speaking self and the feeling self. It is said to help the wearer say what is true with kindness, and to hold their ground without hardness. Traditionally it is known as a stone of hope and calm, believed to soothe worry, steady the nervous system and ease emotional tension. Many also see it as a gentle protector, one said to filter negativity and encourage balance between the masculine and feminine, the assertive and the receptive. It is a stone for those finding their voice, setting boundaries or speaking a truth that has waited a long time to be spoken.

14k Gold
Gold has been revered in nearly every civilisation as the metal of the sun. It is associated with vitality, confidence, warmth and abundance, and with the radiant centre of the self. It never tarnishes, which is why it has long been a symbol of what is enduring and incorruptible within us. In metaphysical tradition gold is linked to the solar plexus and the heart, and is said to strengthen self-worth and clarity of purpose. Here it sits between the stones as a thread of light, carrying warmth through the cool water-tones of the amazonite.

Together
Water and sun. The amazonite calms and clarifies, and the gold warms and empowers. Worn together, they are said to support a voice that is both soft and sure, grounded in the heart and spoken with courage.

Care

Amazonite is a gentle stone and best protected from knocks, harsh chemicals and prolonged water. Remove your necklace before bathing, swimming or exercise, and put it on after perfume and hairspray. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and store in the pouch provided.
