A grounded talisman necklace that holds you to the earth even as it teaches you to let go, weaving light through shadow and freedom through form.

Introduction

This talisman necklace carries the energy of the deep earth, quiet solar confidence, and hard-won liberation. Composed of Grade A Natural Smoky Quartz as its grounded main body, with Grade A+ Citrine and Golden Rutilated Quartz woven through as points of light, strung with 14k gold-filled spacers, The Golden Thread is created as an energetic talisman, holding you steady on solid ground while giving you permission to release what no longer serves.

Each talisman necklace begins with the sacred geometry of the traditional tantric necklace, then I weave in my own medicine and magic. This piece will be handmade in my Devon studio overlooking Dartmoor, an ancient and softly shifting landscape. Every stone, mantra and blessing is chosen with deep thought, aligned with energy and intention, and created with reverence and care.

The Stones

Smoky Quartz

The grounded main body of the necklace, carrying its full weight and shadow the length of the strand. This is the deep earthen root the whole piece stands on, holding and steadying, the quiet ground beneath everything else the piece will do.

Citrine

Woven through the smoky quartz as a geometric highlight, small and deliberate. Where Smoky Quartz holds, Citrine warms, bringing confidence and solar radiance to the surface without ever losing the ground beneath it.

Golden Rutilated Quartz

Fine threads of golden rutile running straight through clear quartz, like light captured mid-motion, like sun breaking through cloud in a single decisive beam. Known as a stone of illumination and release, it cuts through mental fog, dissolves old patterns that no longer serve, and loosens whatever has quietly been holding you in place. Where the other stones root and steady, this one is the permission to actually move.

The Form

Hand woven tantric necklace created with Grade A Natural Smoky Quartz, Grade A+ Citrine and Golden Rutilated Quartz, strung with 2.5mm 14k gold-filled spacers. Set with 4mm stones. As with all natural crystal, exact sizing varies slightly stone to stone, so length is not an exact science; this piece should sit around 40cm, offered as part of the 'small' length pieces. Created for everyday wear and energetic support.

Smoky Quartz is the heart of this piece, as it deserves to be. Carrying the full weight and shadow of the strand, it becomes the deep earthen root the whole piece stands on. As the dominant stone of this necklace, it holds the steady centre from which everything else can safely unfold.

Citrine brings warmth and quiet confidence, small deliberate moments of light breaking through the earth, its solar glow rising to the surface without ever losing the ground beneath it.

Golden Rutilated Quartz completes the piece with liberation, an active current running between grounding and warmth, carrying their combined energy forward rather than letting it settle and still. Visually, it keeps the piece within its earth-toned palette, clear and gold against smoky brown, with a quiet shimmer of light moving through shadow.

Together, these three stones tell the whole story in one line: the deep earth that holds you, the warmth that rises through it, and the golden thread of light that finally sets you free.

Myth & Resonance

The Golden Thread represents the willingness to stay rooted even as you release what no longer serves, holding steady while the truest parts of you find room to rise. This piece will be blessed at Scorhill Stone Circle, high on Dartmoor, one of the most complete and atmospheric Bronze Age circles in the United Kingdom, its weathered granite stones standing alone on the moorland with nothing around them but heather, granite, and the sound of the river far below. I would love to take this piece to be blessed during the powerful window of the autumn equinox, on the 21st or 22nd of September, when light and shadow stand in perfect balance, a fitting moment for a piece built on holding ground and letting go in the same breath.

Mantra & Ritual

This necklace will be imbued with the mantras Har Haray Haree and Kali Ma during its creation, weaving intention and vibration into the piece. Har Haray Haree calls destiny down into form, while Kali Ma is the fierce, clear force that clears the ground for it to land, stripping away illusion, ego and whatever false shape has been quietly held onto, so that what remains is simply real. She is closely linked with liberation itself and with the courage to let old fears and old identities fall away entirely. Together, these mantras carry the piece from grounded intention through to true release, holding steady while making sure what no longer serves has somewhere to go, and what is true has room to rise.

Creation & Shipping

Each piece is made to order, usually within 2–4 weeks. Your necklace will be carefully packaged and sent via tracked and insured delivery. Customs times may vary depending on destination, and any duties or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Total for the finished piece: £490

A deposit of £245 secures your place and sets the work in motion, with the remaining £245 due upon completion, once the piece is finished, blessed, and ready to come home to you.
